Welcome to the Home Page of The Islamic Community Center of Anchorage Alaska
(ICCAA), Inc. ICCAA is the largest Muslim community in the state of Alaska.
Walhamdu Lilah, On July 2008 The
Islamic Community Center of Anchorage Alaska (ICCAA), Inc. signed a purchase
contract for a 35000 s/ft lot in the Anchorage area. The land is located on Old
Seward Hwy and 80th street. The land has a great mountain view - what a
wonderful location for our future Masjid! The purchase price of $270K was paid
in full at the time of signing. The city zoning of the lot has no restrictions
that would preclude the establishment of a religious building on it, and
daycare, community center and school. In order to build Alaska's first Masjid,
we need help from our community and other communities in different states. With
the help of Allah and your generous donations, nothing will be impossible, and
achievable. Even though we are quite proud of the contributions that our
brothers and sisters have made thus far, we urge everyone to continue to give
in the name of Allah so that we are able to commence building His house
Inshallah as soon as possible.
